Outside and beyond the solipsistic obsession with self is a pure and unencumbered reflection of the meaning of artist. Though the work of art is the true gravitational lens, there is some value and meaning in the artist as a vacuum fluctuation – the popping in and popping out might just be relevant to the mass and acceleration of the universe.
